Interview
After a short phone call with the hiring manager in Malaysia, I had 1:1 interview with team lead the other day. The interview lasted for about 30 minutes. The interviewer was smiling throughout, which made me feel relaxed and comfortable during the conversation.

Question 1
They asked me to explain, based on my resume, how my previous work experience is related to this job position and how well I understood the jd.(for example, which tasks I would be expected to handle.) Another key question is was to choose one TikTok value and explain how it appeals to me, and how I could relate to that vision in role. And of course, there were also some situational/case questions to see how I would respond to real work scenarios.

Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter and interviewed by a different recruiter. They only told me the interview would be conducted in Korean and English. I was more comfortable interviewing in English, so I focused my interview prep mostly in Korean but the interview was 95% conducted in English. I do think the outcome would've been different if I focused my time on prepping for the interview in English.

They mostly asked standard questions, the ones anyone can think of. More specific to the job, they asked questions about data analysis.
