Interview process was fine. But it made me realise how unprofessional, un experience the people are. I had an interview, I was sure it went well, as I have the required experience for the role and knew my answers were spot on. After few days I received and email stating they went with another candidate who had more experience than me!. Weird feedback, so I decide to dig in the experience of the two people who interviewed me, well to my surprise, the lead who interviewed me had less experience and knowledge than me !!? So I replied to the email, and still waiting for them to get back with a proper reply which of course they won't do. Its seems you need an element of luck to get a job there, for the more experience role it seems that friends bring in their friends to higher level. Telling me I do not have the experience when I had more than 5 years experience in the role was a bit of a lie. Worst to find out the people you use to manage who had no managerial experience, ends up lying on their cvs and getting role because they had friends working there, well it shows how unprofessional the people in TikTok leadership are.
