I applied for a Backend SWE role and interviewed for SRE. Depending on team, it seems like they are sometimes interchangeable. One interviewer said he doesn't write any code and purely does SysA work, another said he contributes to internal tools. There were 4 or 5 technical rounds, each was a Leetcode Medium (maybe a light Hard, can't recall exactly). I did the full loop but did not get an offer. The interviewers were very polite but seemed stressed about the company; each of them mentioned the long work hours (one SRE was 7am-7pm) but I'm sure the pay is great. Everyone was kind and the recruiters did a great job through the process.
