This is continuation of a previous experience as glassdoor won't let edit interviews posted after 30 days. My further experience came after 30 days unfortunately, which I think is worth sharing.
After falling out on financials the first time, company reached out to me again after a month and half or so. This time I was told that they are considering stepping job title down, making it a contract job instead of full time and for the same salary that they did not feel comfortable with first time around. Of course, this wasn't acceptable to me ( quite ridiculous to even offer actually) and I brought back my original expectations. Another rounds of long discussions and yet again, they couldn't come to the salary offer that was set as expectations at the very beginning of the whole process, first time around.
It was a unique experience, to put it delicately. I wish them success in finding what they are looking for. And I wish the prospect candidate the same, hoping that this interview experience is not reflective of Tideworks' employment experience.
