I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Thrivent (Madison, WI) in Oct 2017
Interview
Long and tedious - spent 2 months with multiple phone and on site interviews along with multiple aptitude tests. If you don't have a lot of local contacts to sell to, they won't be very interested. They are also looking for people who will stay in this role 10+ years, so if you are an older person please don't waste your time here.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Thrivent (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Multiple round interviews. Initially met with the marketing directors, then came on-site for live interviews. Final interviews were over the phone. Nothing technical, more mindset focused, making sure you are a right fit for the team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you fill out your top 300 contacts in a business planning workbook?
It was pretty casual, asked me questions more about personality than technical skills. The process took around four interviews, where I met with a singular guy at first and then with a team.
Very easy going process that was made easier by great people. They are really testing to see how good your soft skills are and your ability to communicate with people.
