I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Thoughtworks (Singapore) in Jun 2015
Interview
1) First round of HR phone interview was positive and progressive. Got a follow up on that very soon, but was informed that the hiring was put on hold.
Contacted again after 3 months and told that they are interested in pursuing my application.
2) Second round of phone interview was smooth and progressive. It lasted for 1 hour with questions ranging from understanding professional and other project experiences. Got a lot of positive reviews from this interviewer - the interviewer was genuinely interested in understanding and finding out about the candidate.
3) Third round was face to face interview. Was informed in the morning of the day of interview and told that there are no other slots available besides the slot that very evening.. Very unprofessional :/
The interview itself had 2 interviewers and did not have the necessary qualifications to conduct the interview for a BA role.
The *WORST* possible interview! Rude! Arrogant! It was mentioned to me a number of times, that ThoughtWorkers were proud of their arrogance :s . The interviewers has no interest in understanding the perspective of the candidate, but were instead interested in boasting about how their client love/hate their arrogance.
The interview in general has the most icy feel I have ever experienced. One of the interviewers even thought it was OK to giggle when the other interviewer asked some questions.. This sarcasm occurred a number of times and it was the most IMMATURE behaviour I have seen by an interviewer.
If this is the kind of attitude, I am very happy I did not waste my time by further interviewing with them and would have been a bad decision to join them.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you estimate the technical infrastructure requirements for a project? How would you estimate the number of clusters required?
2 rounds of interview - one of them would be case study. Mostly on previous experience and scenario based questions. Case study round would be more of actual BA roleplay
Great interview experience. Quick responses, feedback was given timely after each stage. The interviews itself were very engaging, very smart and prepared people, asking challenging but fair questions. I loved the cultural interview.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thoughtworks
Interview
4 rounds - 1 with HR, 1 technical assessment (conversation where they assess your BA theoretical + situational knowledge), 1 case study, and 1 cultural and leadership interview. The entire process took about 1 month.
Overall a fantastic experience; one of the most enjoyable interview experiences I've had. Next steps were always clear and came quickly (within 1 to 2 days), so you never really have to be in limbo for long. Interviewers were also very genuine and kind - they really want to get to know you and assess your fit for the company. They're also very helpful with answering any questions you may have, which really helps in understanding whether Thoughtworks is right for you.
