I appear for first telephony round with senior UX Consultant. He was asking my design process. How you start working in any application. If you do empathy mapping, how do you start with real time user. How many User you will call for participation. He has given me some scenario for a Banking domain application. How you will attract user to use this application as application is not doing good. What will be your process for this. It goes around an hour. After first round of interview they asked me to design an car driver friendly free hand application just like Google map with voice over command. I have submitted the assignment with Business Architect Diagram, User flow, Persona and Mobile wire frame.
After submitting the assignment its almost a month I haven't got any feedback from the company. I tried to connect with HR and interviewer but never got any response. I never got any specific feedback, why they didn't like my approach. Which made me feel like they just asked me to do some free work for them to improve their product and stealing my ideas.
I would advice any applicant be mindful of sharing your own thoughts on their product.
