The process was very long, involving many steps - initial interview with HR, phone interviews with different people lasting 1 1/2 hours, a 'predictive index' psych test, preparation of a very complex project, solving one of several scenarios (so they basically get 'free' work from you in the form of a solution for a problem they are facing with a client), and a couple of in-office interviews lasting hours. I got through all of this, receiving praise for my project, my knowledge and experience. Then I had my final 1/2 hour interview with an individual, who walked in and was inexplicably negative towards me upon our first and only meeting. He claimed that my approach to the project 'missed the point'. After passing all the prior hurdles with flying colors, I had been led to believe that this final interview was a formality. That one person apparently had complete veto power. All the talk about social awareness, and how just and cool they were got blown out the water by this one guy, whereas everybody else I met with seemed to be quite genuine, smart and professional. I believe that every other person I interacted with gave me an up-vote, but this one person was the deal breaker. This was a huge waste of my time and very disappointing.
