I WAS GHOSTED. The initial phone screen with the recruiter, followed by another interview with the hiring manager went well. I was asked to do a panel of interviews with three people at the same time but with scheduling, I was only able to speak with two people and was waiting to speak with the third. When the day of my third interview came, I logged in and waited for about 15 mins for the interviewer to show up but they never did. I emailed the scheduling coordinator (who, by the way, was based overseas so there was a time difference) to see what happened. I followed up the next day to let them know of my interest, only for the initial recruiter to tell me they went with someone else. They had several days to let me know before my interview and didn’t. Don’t waste your time with a company who has interviewers that ghost you and who outsource their scheduling coordinators overseas because this interview process was atrocious and a huge waste of about a month. I will never apply with Thermofisher again and want to warn others.
