First send your CV and cover letter before the deadline. Then have a email, informing if you have a phone call interview very shortly after the deadline. Then offered a place at the assessment centre, where I had a a group task, a short lab exercise, a sort test (both in which you could ask for help if stuck) and then a presentation follow by an interview
