I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Indianapolis, IN) in Jun 2017
Interview
I met the hiring manager at a conference. So we set up an interview for about 40 minutes. Both the hiring manager and the HR showed up. The questions are mainly about my research background. They do not think my background is a match so I did not get the on-site interview.
I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Middleton, WI)
Interview
The interview felt less like an interview and more like a conversation. It was informative, and they led with the types of things they were looking for or why they were asking the question when asking behavioral questions
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is your biggest scientific accomplishment, and what were some problems you encountered while trying to achieve it, and how did you overcome these issues?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific
Interview
Very rushed experience with terrible communication, both from the hiring manager and the recruiter - wasn't given a chance to meet with other team members/collaborators, despite asking. Terrible offer and benefits (below market base salary, 1 year for 401k match to kick in, no equity). Would NOT recommend.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Cincinnati, OH)
Interview
it was smooth and easy, few questions related to behavior. few questions on technical. overall great experience. client facing question and few on past experiences. it was half day process to cover all the details.
