I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Crown Point, IN) in Sept 2020
Interview
Relaxed just trying to get to know you better and see if you fit with the team. They ask about availability and how well you know how to swim and other water safety procedures that you may know.
Easy, asks relevant questions. Casual, you should know the job and be ready to show up early and take it seriously. You’ll be the best at the job if you just do that.
Couple of behavioral / skill questions related to the training classes. Know all the types of saves and when to perform them. Also, know how to answer situational changes. 1 short interview with the lead Aquatics director. Offer next day
