I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Toronto, ON) in Dec 2015
Interview
Panel interview with the immediate supervisor and 2 other managers. 1st interview was panel, as I was an external candidate they had me undergo some IQ, EQ and personality testing. This is apparently common for any management hires. Final interview was a presentation to another 3 member panel- 2 new members and the director supervisor.
Process can be long and time-line (despite what they say) is not fixed in stone, may take a while.
Professional process, and straightforward questions. Nice demeanor and interviewers were easy to talk with. Left section for me to ask questions which was nice. I prepared ahead of time which helped a lot.

Interview
One or two phone screening processes with HR, a Zoom interview with HR, a Zoom interview with immediate superior, and then a group interview with all Executive Director. Lots of communication before getting a final offer came through email.

It was a little bit longer than expected. You go through at least three or four interviews, but the hiring process is very smooth. Depending on your applying branch, a group of people interviews you. They make you feel very comfortable and thoughtfully explain the job position to you.
