      Retail Store Manager Interview

      10 Nov 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Houston, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Vitamin Shoppe (Houston, TX) in Jun 2012

      Interview

There were two interviews. The questions were behavioral based questions. The interview was pretty simple. First you meet with the local market manager and then you will move on to a follow up interview with the District Manager. Some of the questions will be the same in the second interview. You should be specific in your examples, stating precise previous experiences.

      Interview

Hiring process was simple but long. Got a call from the District Manager, scheduled an interview, Interview went well, typical star method. 1 week after the DM interview, received a call for a follow up interview with the Regional Manager (phone interview as he couldn't fly over from Phoenix AZ). Got a call the next day with an offer. It took another 2 weeks to go through drug screening and background.
