I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Trevor Project (New York, NY)
Interview
This starts with a phone interview, then two in-person interviews, and then a 1:1 with the chief of staff. There seems to be a disconnect in the understanding of roles between staff and upper management at this office. It seems odd for an organization like this to not respond to any follow ups after putting applicants through 3 interviews and a project.

How do you see The Trevor Project fitting into your long term career goals?
I applied online. I interviewed at The Trevor Project
Interview
I received a response fairly quickly after applying online with a list of times to do a phone interview. The interview itself went fine, but my interviewer was over 10 minutes late in calling me. At the end of the interview, I was told they would let me know the next week if I had moved onto the next interview round, which would be in-person and have a special project. I did not hear back from them the next week, and when I followed up a week later, I never received a response. When I e-mailed again, 3 weeks after my initial interview, I was told that they were still having conversations, but to expect an update that day. I didn't receive an update that day, and didn't receive a response for the next 2 e-mails I sent asking for updates over the course of the next 2 weeks. From the initial phone interview, it took over a month and a half for me to be told I had not moved onto the next round. I love what The Trevor Project does as an organization, but it was disheartening to see how disrespectful they were of my time throughout this interview process.
