Easily the worst interview length & experience I have ever had. The process went on for 7 months, during which time I did 5 interviews. The (internal) recruiter kept mentioning difficulties of getting everyone together, which I can appreciate, but 7 months?
I did 4 of the interviews by the start of December, but then I didn't hear from them again until February, at which point they said they liked me but the position I was interviewing for was no longer available and asked if I would interested in another role instead, to which I said yes. They then organised a meeting for me and the head of the department to discuss salary and start date and then a few days after that said they would be re-arranging the salary/contract chat to be another stage of the interview and they want me to meet some more people. I did the last interview stage but didn't get the job, which is not my complaint here, the process on the run up to it was absolutely abysmal, I can't even imagine how they are operating during these more difficult times.
