The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Trade Desk
Interview
The interview process was extremely scattered. I had a first round call with a recruiter, then a hiring manager which were both fine but then when I had my candidate day they moved around my interviews, one of the interviewers showed up late and she seemed to have absolutely no clue what was going on. She didn’t ask me any questions and just went on a long, hard to follow rant about the most bizarre collections of things. I thought maybe she was a last second fill in but then I learned that she was the head of the office. After that, I decided to not accept the offer they gave me. I just left a company with kooky leadership and don’t want to go to another one like that.
So far pretty straightforward: Recruiter screening -> interview with hiring manager -> data presentation -> in-person interviews with different team members. Everyone has been really nice and helpful. Nervous about the data presentation portion.
The process included an initial HR screen, followed by an interview with the hiring manager, and a case study (presentation). Preparing the presentation took a lot of time and good knowledge of the TTD products. The final round would be 1:1 interviews with the team (did not make it to this round).

Question 1
When you look back on your career, what were the things you enjoyed doing and what did you not enjoy so much?
I interviewed at The Trade Desk (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
My recruiter was very helpful and the process is very clear and transparent; however it seems the expectations from the hiring team in the presentation round are very high. It's not as simple as are you willing to learn and work hard it seems.
