I applied online. I interviewed at The Texas Tribune in Oct 2024
Interview
I recently interviewed with the Chief Revenue Officer for a position and wanted to share my experience. While I appreciated the opportunity to discuss my qualifications, I was disappointed by the lack of follow-up communication afterward.
After the interview, I sent a follow-up email inquiring about the status of my final interview, but I did not receive any response. Clear communication is crucial during the hiring process, and I would have appreciated an update or acknowledgment of my inquiry.
Overall, while the interview itself went well, the absence of follow-up left me with a less favorable impression of the company’s communication practices.
-straightforward with 3 interviews with the main decision makers of the department I was required to work in
-started virtually and then met the team in person to go over my background and their current systems
It was a great interview process. I was flown in from out of town for in-depth conversations with the entire team. I learned how the organization worked, what their editorial, data and strategic challenges were and how the role would fit into addressing them. I was also able to provide resources needed to succeed in the job with an assurance that I would get them if hired.
