      Sales Interview

      27 Apr 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Miami, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at The Sports Club (Miami, FL) in Mar 2010

      Interview

I was contacted via email from someone in the human resources department and then forwarded a link to a site where I downloaded these "personality test" documents. It was basically a list of adjectives and the task was to select which I thought best described me and then those which best describe how I believe other people see me. Apparently I didn't check off the right boxes, because despite the extreme interest they expressed when they saw my resume and speaking with me on the phone, they never called back after I submitted the forms. I have been a hiring manager, and I think it is incredibly silly to base a hiring decision solely on a standardized "personality test" without actually interviewing someone face to face.
