I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Road Home (Salt Lake City, UT) in Sept 2025
Interview
The interview process was relaxed, friendly, and very engaging. It started with a phone interview that felt conversational rather than scripted, and then moved to an in-person interview that was equally welcoming. The questions were thoughtful, and the tone was collaborative, leaving me with a positive impression of both the team and the organization’s culture.

I fully support the mission of the Road Home and thoroughly enjoyed meeting the interviewing team. However, I had my reservations about the frequent re-posting of positions and turnover I have seen at the Road Home and in this type of work in general, and was disappointed by the organizations seemingly lack of interest in maintaining a long-term strategy for taking care of it's employees. These interviews made it clear that I would not find a sustainable work environment at the Road Home.
