I applied online and first spoke with a recruiter. The initial conversation was pretty standard. I was asked about my experience working with clients and exposure to high volume environments. I then moved onto an interview with leadership that felt a bit rushed. He seemed eager to get through his questions and really emphasized on the ability to be results driven and handle a high pressure environment. I was able to ask a few questions, mostly surrounding culture, leadership style, and communication practices as I did notice some of the negative reviews. I think the value I placed on these things, probably was a red flag for them because I did feel a shift in tone and then a week later I was given an auto rejection.

Question 1
How do you work with SDRs and other teams to achieve the same goal? What industries have you worked in?
I'm not sure what is going on with their process, but it is poorly structured and maintained.
They initially invited me for an 1st round interview with a recruiter via email. That was fine and pretty standard, however advancing through the process reminds me of going down a rabbit hole. They asked me to move forward to a ridiculously long scripted mock call interview with one person. That then got rescheduled and I was told I had to meet with a different person. The day I was getting prepared for that call, the new person I was meeting with was almost a full 10 minutes late, so my interview was then cut short and I was asked to meet again to essentially do the same thing...
Ultimately, I felt like their team lacked respect for my time and you could tell they probably deal with chaos and disorder behind the scenes.
If you are a real professional looking for an opportunity with a company that has it together, this process did not reflect that kind of caliber...
I only expressed initial interest because a friend of mine who was hired there about 2 years ago had a completely different interview experience that he enjoyed, but seeing as he's no longer with this company, maybe my experience makes sense now.

Question 1
What is your sales experience? How do you deal with objections? Tell me how you ensure you hit your monthly goals and KPIs
I applied online. I interviewed at The Pipeline Group in Jan 2026
Interview
The interview was completely disorganized. The first interview the team continuously kept rescheduling my interview times and as someone that works a current job this made it extremely inconveniencing. I had to keep changing the PTO for my current job which put me in a bind. My other dissatisfaction was the final interview was an assessment. I took time and did an amazing presentation and answered all questions of this assessment and at the end the one guy asked me questions that were clearly covered throughout my presentation which showed he was not actively engaged or listening. The interview went great, and he promised a follow up on Monday, no follow up ensued. The next day I had to reach out and follow up and I received a rejection notice which threw me off completely. I had to reach out for a follow up which showed me everything about this company. I wasted time and PTO for this. Why have me advance to the final round if you knew I was not a good fit? It’s like companies want you to do assessments to give them free ideas with no plans on hiring you.
