Interview
After a pleasant screening call with the recruiter, I proceed through a typical series of interviews with the squad manager, lead and peer developers, product managers, and leadership. Everyone was enjoyable and asked good questions that went to the point; no trick questions and no emphasis on "classic" questions that only test how well you interview. Each interviewer knew what they wanted to know, and that was refreshing.

Question 1
I appreciated their approach to the technical interview. I was shown a typical example of the code I was applying to develop, and talked through what it did and how I would handle certain scenarios. In my opinion, this was much more effective than a live coding exercise or tricky logic problem, since the "open world" nature of the conversation gave them good insight both into my base knowledge and how I think about code.
