I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Islington GP Group in May 2025
Interview
The HR team were very quick to book me in for the first and second round interviews. The first interview was pleasant enough, though the panel were a bit late starting. The questions and the task given in the first interview were very fair.
However, after the second interview, the communication from them was very poor. Despite being told during the interview that I'd hear back by the end of the week, I had to follow-up by email twice over an additional two weeks before receiving a generic response to inform me they weren't moving forward with my application.
The lack of communication after the second interview was incredibly unprofessional and rude, especially since I was asked to make the effort to attend a second face-to-face interview, only for it to be 4 very short informal-style questions and literally lasting no longer than 10 minutes (with no reimbursement offered for travel costs). From what I can see on Glassdoor, this seems to be a reoccurring theme with their hiring process. Wouldn't recommend applying for a job with them as it felt like they took applicants' time for granted.

Interview
Generally, the interview process was very smooth. However, I was very disappointed with the process following the interview.
Communication prior to the interview was really clear, warm and prompt. I got a call the day before the interview to check if I was OK and to give me a run down of the structure of the interview. The interview itself was fine. I had to complete a short task in a separate room based on scenarios, then I had some questions on my response for that task followed by some more standard interview questions. I was told I would hear back in just over a week's time. I never heard back so I emailed a few days after to ask when I could expect to hear. I received a bog standard email which informed me that I did not get the role. I requested feedback on 2 occasions and I was ignored both times. This is really poor form not to call candidates who interviewed and to not offer them any form of feedback. They only interviewed max 6 people.

Interview
1. Face-to-face interview 1. Set questions 2. Set scenarios 3. Questions at the end 4. Face-to-face interview 5. Questions from a Panel The overall process was very welcoming. However, there is no notification post-interview with regard to whether you were successful or not. This is quite disappointing, especially after receiving the commitment to attend. A short note to say thank you for attending we will be in touch, etc.
