The Inkey List interview questions

The interview process was efficient, starting with an interview with a few team members, followed by a task and a final interview with the manager. Communication was clear throughout the whole process.

I applied for 2 roles (Senior Designer and Art Director) as I had skills in both and was happy to explore. The company decided to interview for both roles in the same meeting, which made it difficult as it had be squeezed into the same amount of time for one interview (30 mins). As I was interviewed for both roles, 2 people for the Designer role were there as well as the person hiring for the AD role - so in total 3 people. The person interviewing me for the Designer role didn’t feel comfortable leading the interview, so it felt disjointed. The other person hiring for the AD role asked me about 2 questions in total. I wasn’t really able to showcase my skills for either role as I was having to be ‘both’ roles in a much shorter amount of time. If I was given an interview for each role I could have gone more in-depth with my experience. The feedback I received mentioned I didn’t have certain skills, but wasn’t asked about those skills or able to talk about them as we had so little time.
