Typical interview process. Conducted a phone interview followed by an in-person interview. Two people present with one asking the majority of the questions. Overall, it was pleasant. Nothing out of the ordinary.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The I-Grace Company (Long Island City, NY)
Interview
First interview was with easily the smartest Person in the company. Second was with management which we talked about poetry. Third was with ceo in which he irritated how impressive he is.

Interview
I interviewed by phone with the HR manager and it went great. Was invited to meet in-person with her and another colleague, whom I would be replacing. They were both encouraging and very positive! Then was invited back to meet the CEO! I was so excited as this firm was my 1st choice for a career! I had all weekend to prepare, study, watch videos, examine their financials & competition, did my homework! My interview was at 5pm on a Monday. Took the day off from work. The whole day I watched YouTube videos featuring the CEO. Dressed my best, got there extra early... When I got there, I was informed I'd meet the Chief of Staff briefly. She gave me her card after our discussion. I waited... and waited... was finally told that the CEO was on the phone and not available. I was escorted out... Never heard back. It was the most humiliating experience. Very disappointed that the CEO didn't even have the courtesy to meet me for a few minutes no matter what they thought of me. After all, they were the ones who invited me there to meet him. I left shocked, not understanding what happened. It really played a toll. Never heard from them again. Looking back, I am glad I found out early on what kind of leader he really is to treat potential candidates in that manner. I wonder whether he and his team was treated that way when bidding for a project in the past and was just blown off so abruptly.
