I applied online. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Sept 2020
Interview
Really laid back interview. Just be kind, respectful and honest. If you are asked to report to the service desk and someone walks you to the back for your interview be sure to engage in conversation to make a good first impression. For bonus points look up Home Depot's values, you will have a better understanding of what they are looking for.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Totowa, NJ) in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview process was straightforward, focusing mainly on understanding benefits and basic expectations. It felt more like an orientation than a traditional interview, with an emphasis on introducing the role and responsibilities.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Grand Prairie, TX) in Mar 2025
Interview
Good interview. The interviewer was very nice and respectful. Standard questions and nothing that would be unexpected. I would be happy to have a similar interview again in the future if I apply again.

Simple questions asking about your life, why you’re here, have you had any other experience in this area. Nothing technical, just making sure you are who you say you are and can work as a team.
