I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Dec 2009
Interview
The initial phone interview was a screening to schedule a face to face interview. The phone interview consisted of the general questions in relation to how an individual sees him/herself as the best possible candidate for the position. The questions were relevant to subject matter and knowledge of it.
super easy and efficient and made me feel comfortable. recruiter called first, had a screening. then had two rounds of interviews and each was with a hiring manager and with team.
It was welcoming and informative . It was more of a conversation that flowed very easily. It was very thorough in explaining the role and the expectations surrounding it. It was a smooth process and this is a great company
I applied online. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Jan 2023
Interview
I spoke with a recruiter and then got an interview set up a few weeks later. The interviewer was looking for someone with more experience for an entry level position. Even though I had researched the position, industry and job requirements a fair amount. Additionally, I have a Master of Business Administration in Information Systems Management. Although my work experience may have been lacking in his eyes, I clearly had enough base level knowledge to be able to start an entry level role. It seemed that he was not impressed from the beginning.
