The first interview was with the recruiter, and it went well.
The second interview was a technical one. However, once the director began asking questions, it became clear that he did not understand the concepts he was trying to evaluate. He repeatedly reframed the same questions, and the level of arrogance he displayed was surprising and unprofessional. At that point, I realized there was no way I could work under that kind of leadership, so I politely thanked them and ended the meeting. In over 20 years of my professional career, I don’t recall ever having such a negative interview experience.
