I was put in touch with the CTO through Vettery. After an initial phone screen, he invited me on-site for a half-day pair programming session working through three issues on an open-source project. Afterwards, I was invited back on-site for a final interview with the rest of the team. An offer was made a few days later and I accepted. I selected 'Very Easy' for the Interview Difficulty because I worked through the issues prior to the interview (which seemed to me like the obvious thing to do) so I was incredibly prepared by the time I was on-site. I was awarded an offer because I was the only candidate to do this. For those curious, no background check or drug test was required.
