Communication throughout the recruitment process has been inconsistent, leading to uncertainty and delays. I was invited to a second-stage interview, but they didn't respond for days to confirm their availability. They only managed to confirm the interview for Monday on the previous Friday afternoon and then ended up cancelling it on the actual day, causing me to lose a day I had specifically set aside for this. Despite this, I agreed to reschedule since I had already put time into the task I needed to present.
It’s now been over a month since my second-stage interview, and I haven’t heard back despite following up for feedback or a status update, which was simply ignored. Also, it was only at the end of the final-stage interview that I was informed the job title had changed. Normally, this should have been communicated before the interview, not at the final stage. While I'm disappointed by the time and effort spent (especially since the ideas I shared might be used without me knowing), part of me thinks I might have dodged a bullet. If this is how they handle the recruitment process, I wonder about other processes in the company and how they treat their employees.
