Brief 20 minute call asking what I would like to gain from the experience and a bit about me.
Unpaid so I declined.
It was a real shame because the interviewer really gave me the impression at the interview that they were passionate about giving people with low experience a chance in marketing. However, with the application process being a complete mess I had my doubts; the job listing had just two sentences in the description, to apply I had to reverse engineer their website to get the email address to apply (the ‘apply now’ button doesn't do anything so I had to use console devtools to see the email), Then had a 2 week wait for an initial response even with follow-up emails, I was offered the position but couldnt manage the 6 month time frame unpaid. They then offered a PAID 3 month internship which was great. But this was a typo unfortunately so I ended my communications with this company. :D
This unfortunately isnt the role for me but would be great for someone out of college or school with no experience and are happy to work for free.
