I submitted my resume online and was contacted after a few months, for the interview. It was a great sell, as I left a hospital close to home for the opportunity to work at home. I was told that I would have to go out with a preceptor for a little while, and then work from the office for about 6 months. I was not told that the job involved at least 6 visits per week in the inner city of Chicago (I live in Indiana), and then was told that I had to come downtown Chicago (1.5 hour drive), most of the week. Also, I was told that it could take up to 1 year before I'd work from home.
