I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (San Diego, CA) in Oct 2013
Interview
first you apply online. then you get a call to come in for an interview. Was a new store opening. kind of like a cattle call, tons of people applying in a big room. Lots of paperwork going on. So you meet with a section manager have a interview. they either ask you to wait or say they call you back, if you get wait that means you meat the GM for a final once over interview. they say they'll call you back. if you're hired they'll call you in a few days.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Glendale, WI) in Mar 2026
Interview
You initially interview with an assistant manager or something. It is a rather easy interview but then they say they will get back to you about setting up a second interview and they never do. Felt like the were giving me the run-around. Not professional.
I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Orland Park, IL)
Interview
Very easy interview process. I sat down with one of the shift managers and we went over job duties, my experience and availability. They mostly ask about reliability and availability.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory
Interview
3 interviews, first 2 pretty much just about availability, last one was more scenario questions such as what you would do if you noticed a guest wasn't having a good experience and how to better it. Also asked about past work history, specifically if you've worked in retail or fast food/a restaurant before
