Interview process was fine, was a panel of 3. 2 of them were very friendly but one member was very cold and I found her presence slightly intimidating. They had given questions beforehand which was kind and wanted to talk about my answers in more detail. I felt as though they didn't have very strong follow-up questions and wanted precise and exact details of specific examples from years ago. In the interview, due to my experience, they hinted that maybe I was a bit too overqualified for the role or that maybe they would struggle to know what I would gain from the experience. Then I received a phone call saying I was rejected due to a lack of experience. I would have preferred an email rather than a call as my hopes were dashed. The lack of experience part didn't align with what they said in the interview and the lack of opportunity to get verbal feedback felt as though the company didn't want to hire me for personal reasons. They also said that I would get compensated for my train ticket and they never did. Not the best interview experience I have had compared to other organisations.
