I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at The Central Claims Group (Sydney) in Feb 2018
Interview
Interview process is stress-free but still formal. Questions are not very difficult. The interviewer is very kind and supportive. They want to see how well you work with others and could you fit with the company culture
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Central Claims Group (Sydney) in Oct 2018
Interview
Failed to call me on the initial phone interview on three seperate days. Interview was basic but seemed to be a fishing expedition to find out how other insurers manage work. Was phoned after two weeks asking if I was interested in another role which I confirmed. Received a txt message confirming HR was checking my final reference and will then be making me an offer. A further week passed I received an email confirming I was unsuccessful in gaining any of the three positions they felt I could fulfill. Following up with my previous managers no second reference was completed, first reference feedback was good but, they urged my previous manager to apply for a position with them. Phone calls, texts and emails to HR following up on the outcome have not been responded to. Feedback from other insurers was that the company are difficult to deal with and get on board to manage the claim leading to alot of insurer/policy holder work and stress on brokers. As excited as I was about a career plan with the business I wouldn't have accepted a position.
