I applied through other source. I interviewed at The Actors Gymnasium
Interview
I interviewed when the role was initially advertised then pulled out once I realised that I woudl be the first ED ever in a foundder-led org (I had a competing offer). The role turned over after a year and was still vacant when I was ready to look again. Process was incredibly thorough. Lengthy email exchanges throughout. Friendly process.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Actors Gymnasium in May 2015
Interview
The entire process took me about two to three weeks. I applied for one of the intern positions and was interviewed on-site. I was also given a tour of the spaces. By the end of the week I had heard back. Questions were standard about my experience and knowledge of the company/what I wanted to get out of the internship/etc.

I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Actors Gymnasium
Interview
- sent in application with cover letter, resume, 2 references, and a 1-page writing sample
- received a phone call about a month afterwards to schedule an in-person interview
- interviewed with the Executive Director and the Education Coordinator (the two people I would be working most directly with)
- questions were very straightforward: What is your background, What type of projects would you be ideally working on, How would you deal with an argumentative parent (etc).
