It was easy. You walk into the store and sit down with the manager. They ask the standard questions like " why do you want to work here?, are you good with selling to people, things of that nature

Easy breezy. Hardly any questions. Just availability, when I can start working, and solidified mgmt $7.50/hr rate of pay offer. Nothing else more than that! Walked up to the sales counter and had an informal interview right there in front of everyone! LOL.

Interview
It is generally relaxed, you'll meet a leader or assistant manager for the first interview in the back office. You'll briefly meet with the manager after the interview.
Your major does not affect your chances of getting hired, but I do remember my manager having a special interest in management, marketing and accounting majors.
