The first round interview was a group interview- no where in the scheduling email did it say it would be a group interview. They let us know about the position and then let us know that we will work up to higher positions. Maybe I misunderstood but it wasn’t the same as what I had applied for (Event Coordinator position) I went to the 2nd round interview just to practice my interview skills and my interviewer asked the same question twice “What motivates you for your career change?” And I had already given him an answer (working with impact work and charities, which I already do, so it seemed redundant). Unfortunately due to the description of the position not matching what I would start off doing, the interview wasn’t great. This company is essentially a canvassing company marketing for charities, which is fine but did not match the description of the position on LinkedIn. I refused the offer as this is not the role I am looking for.
