I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Bengaluru) in Dec 2025
Interview
Briefly scanned my resume for projects relevant to signal processing and then proceeded to give me 3-4 questions related to Fourier Transform, Discrete Fourier Transform, and BPSK. When stuck, hints were given. They were looking for a clear thinking process and familiarity with the basic formulas required for signal processing and communication systems.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Given the frequency spectrum of a certain signal that looked like two square pulses centred at +- 100Mhz with bandwidth 5Mhz, what does the time-domain signal look like? Also is the time domain signal real or not?
Either a +1 or a -1 symbol is transmitted with equal probabiility. At the receivers side, some gaussian noise with variance sigma^2 is added. What is the optimal decision boundary? Derive it rigorously for the case when -1 is transmitted with probability 0.75 and +1 with probability 0.25.
I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Guwahati) in Aug 2025
Interview
1 Online Assesment- difficulty level is eight out of ten
They'll shortlist people in it and organize interview round and then they will ask questions involving probability, signals and systems course(L T I Systems, Fourier Transforms, sampling etcc.)

Question 1
They gave me some uniform random variable function and a linear equation involving X and Y and first asked the distribution of X and then asked Y
I applied through university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Mumbai) in Aug 2019
Interview
1 Technical test, many questions are out of the box, 2 Technical Interviews which was purely technical and they wont look at our resume or CV, and an HR interview

Question 1
U have only FFT module , how to obtain an IFFT output using that one?
