I had reached out to the recruiter on LinkedIn. Recruiter was quick enough to response after seeing profile match. I was asked to take an online test on coderbyte. Online test question - Return first non-repeating character. Time -1 hr 15 mins. The coding platform wasn't good. It kept giving compilation log errors after running. I checked my code on local machine it worked fine. Later I tried clearing log console from coderbyte after that I got correct output at console. After submission it showed all test cases passed. Submitted test in 27 mins to be exact. After 5-6 days I tried following up with HR. She said your score is only 50/100 there were 5 tab switches and some copy code detected and also talked about data structures (which she wasn't much aware of, but agreed to send report) PS - I had to switch tabs as the console didn't show correct output and also checked by completely copying the code present in my local machine. Advise to Test Vagrant - If your online assessment platform isn't showing correct result candidate will be confused. PS - About phone screening in HR round. They had fixed salary bands.
