To start of, the recruiters at Tesla were professional and educated with a great sense of humor. Also, bonding with Tesla's team at the career fair is always a plus.
After close observations, here are signs to look for to see if you have a chance to be considered for an interview: 1.) If they like you, they will ask you to email them your resume 2.) If you're a potential employee, one person will most likely introduce you to the whole team if you met them at a career fair.
There were 2 steps throughout the whole process. First, a recruiter or HR will contact you to set up a phone interview. Additionally, the interview (for me personally) lasted 40 minutes because the recruiter not only interviewed me, but I went ahead and asked her really great questions about Tesla as well. Afterwards, if you pass stage one, you'll be contacted by another person that is responsible for setting up a face to face meeting with Tesla's store manager. It's important to note that this process could take up to a week since there are many departments in charge of hiring. With that being said, the last step is the interview with Tesla's store manager. To go into further detail, you'll be emailed to fill out an application online and sign a few paperworks prior to the interview. Also, it was noted in my email that the interview would last 30 minutes. However, the face to face interview lasted two whole hours for me because not only was I asked the typical interviews, there were a lot of insights shared about Tesla and work ethics. Lastly, if they move forward with hiring you, you will receive a phone call with the first recruiter that interviewed you on the phone the next day!
