Ten-X interview questions

Costar's company policy forces people to RTO, and specifically must be in the local area to the subcompany. No exceptions for new hires. But the hiring manager told me she made an exception for a veteran employee. So it doesn’t seem fair. First call was a “data dump” of information. Too much about them and very little about me. Too fakey and too nice. Unfamiliar with California laws about pay transparency. Second call was very weird. It’s like they saw or heard something from me in the first few minutes and their tone drastically shifted to being very negative the rest of the interview. CoStar overall has a weird strategy of acquiring a bunch of real estate companies. They don't seem to meld or merge together in any coherent way.

Met with a recruiter and then met with the hiring manager in person. Questions concerned my experience and the overlap between my previous roles and this role. She was able to gauge my skill level and my ceiling.
