The process was extremely long- 4 interviews!! The initial interview (with the CEO) went very well and so did the second (with a manager). I was then invited in for an in-person interview with the CEO which I thought went relatively well, too. Next, I was scheduled for a final interview with another executive, I forget her name. It was hard to tell what she did exactly... I couldn't find her on LinkedIn or anywhere for that matter. I was told by the CEO that a decision would be made the day after my final interview and that he would contact all of the candidates.
Keep in mind, there were 4 interviews. All of which I spent lots of time preparing for. You can imagine how much time, effort, and research one would put in if they were serious about getting a position at any company. I'm not great at interviewing, but I thought I pulled through pretty well....well enough to get to the final interview. Welp. I never got a callback. For all the time and effort I dedicated to this interview process, the company didn't even have the decency to call me (or email me) to let me know they had gone a different route. This is absolutely pathetic and unprofessional. They basically ghosted me- I'm happy that I didn't have to waste any more time on a company that can't take 2 minutes to write an email. Extremely inconsiderate of my time and effort.
