I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Telfair (Savannah, GA) in May 2018
Interview
A nice and frank interview about my skills and what I could contribute to the museum. Also ended up being recruited to teach programming classes there. Overall a very easy interview and left me with a positive impression.

I submitted my application to an online listing and received a request for a phone screen a week or so later with the HR manager. I never heard back from this institution regarding my candidacy.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Telfair (Savannah, GA) in Feb 2015
Interview
I had a phone interview and then was brought in for an in-person interview. I was interviewed by two people who alternated asking questions. Everything was professional and pleasant. I felt comfortable answering all the questions. I had enough combined paid and volunteer experience and enthusiasm for the position. But by their line of questioning I could see that they could not quite "connect the dots" as to how I could apply my past education and experience to their position. Even though what I was applying for is similar to the kind of work I did as a volunteer for over two years.

Question 1
How can you tie in your previous job experience to our position? (They were concerned that my paid experience did not seem to directly relate to the job I was applying for).
