I interviewed with this company a few weeks ago and was initially very excited about the opportunity. The interview process was fairly extensive but moved quickly, which I appreciated. I spoke with their senior recruiter, head of HR, a bilingual recruiter to assess my Spanish skills, as well as the CFO and CEO. After my final interview, I was told I had the job and would be contacted soon with a start date. As someone who had recently been laid off, I was thrilled.
However, it’s now been three weeks with no follow-up and no communication. As a recruiter myself, I understand that sometimes offers fall through—but completely ghosting a candidate, especially after a verbal offer, is unprofessional and disrespectful. This experience has unfortunately left me with a negative impression of how they treat potential employees.
