I recently went through the recruitment process at TeamViewer and wanted to share what a pleasant and thoughtful experience it was.
The journey started with an interview with someone from HR, who was warm, welcoming, and set a great tone for the rest of the process. It felt like they genuinely cared about creating a good candidate experience.
Next, I had the chance to meet members of the Design team in two separate conversations. These were engaging and insightful — a real two-way exchange that gave me a clear sense of the team’s mindset and culture.
I was then invited to complete a design exercise. It was well-scoped and relevant, with just the right amount of challenge. Honestly, it was fun to work on — something that’s not always the case with design tasks during hiring.
After that, I presented my work to the team in a dedicated interview. It was a great opportunity to share my thinking, and I felt encouraged by how thoughtful and constructive the feedback was.
Finally, I had a closing conversation with a Product Manager and a Tech Lead.
Overall, the process was smooth, respectful, and genuinely human. Each step felt intentional, and everyone I spoke to brought kindness and clarity to the table.
