I had an interview with the Team Lead and another interview with my manager-to-be. The interviews were two because of a scheduling conflict, but we easily arranged for the second interview for the next day.
Both were very friendly and the chat was informative for both sides, but welcoming at the same time .
They asked me about positions in the past, and as I did not have relevant experience in the specific topic, the discussion was focused on jobs that had relative soft skills (like structured work, organization, ability to prioritize and resolve issues) which did give me confidence that they do not only see hard skills but are willing to offer a learning space and focus on the persons overall fit to the team.
There was no technical part to the interview, it was mostly centered around analytical thinking and way of working.
I was asked about the specific tools that the company and team uses, but not knowing them wasn't a deciding factor.
