The first telephone conversation with HR was great.
When I had a face to face interview a few days later, I went home satisfied.
I was given some tasks to do at home, which I was to present one day later. I didn't have much time to prepare, but I did my best and you can't expect an applicant to understand the product one hundred percent - at least I thought so, because Outbrain sees it differently. I was able to create a presentation in their style, everything necessary on the website and the product was stored in my head.
On site I was given another calculation task. It was not difficult. However, the arithmetic was so questioned that it seemed strange. One of the interviewers who held a higher position was rude to me: he hadn't read my CV correctly, but he said that the product should have been better understood, but at the same time he said that it was interesting to see what information the Outbrains website could provide, because internally they sell their products differently. What was that? How can you know that as an applicant? Please remember: You are only as good as the information you provide. After several outbursts of this employee, like "Ughhh", "Aha" and eye rolling, I realized that this was the end of the line for me.
In retrospect, I was able to take a look at his profile on LinkedIN and it was more than clear: a narcissistic personality who only got this decision-making position thanks to an internal restructuring.
I had more experience in the field of e-commerce and understood a number of software products right away. It is my job to sell software products.
By the way, the question whether I want to have children in the future is inappropriate and not legal.
I should receive an answer after one week.
I am still waiting.
Since the first two rounds of the interview were really pleasant, I guess that the third round unfortunately got out of hand due to an employee who has too much power and can't handle it. It's sad to see such a strong company, whose product is really unique, hiring such narcissistic personalities who only see the profit instead of also acting on a personal level. You advertise a happy working together. Please take a closer look.
They will ask about your experiences, ideas, and career goals, while also sharing insights about the role, the company, and answering any questions you may have. Just a heads-up that adding a small buffer between your slot and others helps ensure everyone gets a fresh and focused conversation.

Interview
I applied for a role at Teads online and was scheduled for an interview a few days later. During the interview, I felt the interviewer seemed somewhat uninterested, and I ended up doing most of the talking. At one point, I was asked to walk through my CV and highlight key parts of my experience, which gave the impression they hadn't reviewed my CV beforehand. It felt a bit like they were working through a quota of interviews for the day.
There was little clarification about the role itself or the expectations, and as a result, many of my questions about the position went unanswered.

I had a job interview in the beginning of August 2025. The HR promised to come back with feedback in September, because the manager would be away until then. By the end of September, I tried to remind them about myself, as I hadn't received a rejection. However, I was ghosted, and my email was never answered.
