Unprofessional & Disrespectful Interview Experience
I appeared for interviews at Teachmint in July 2025. The initial screening started with an intern on July 11th, followed by calls from a recruiter who scheduled my interviews on July 14th with the Talent Acquisition Manager and HR Director. Both rounds went well, and I received an email confirming my selection.
The final round was to be with the Co-founder/CEO, but I was told the Co-founder was on vacation and it would be scheduled once he was back. They confirmed July 21st as the interview date but failed to show up or inform me of any changes. I followed up multiple times — via email and phone — but received no communication.
After further follow-ups, I was finally told (on August 2nd) that my profile was "on hold" due to a supposed "change in role" — a vague and unconvincing excuse, likely just a soft rejection.
I have no problem with not being selected — that’s part of the process. What’s unacceptable is:
Taking me through multiple serious rounds, including face-to-face
Keeping me hanging for weeks
Not responding to follow-ups
Cancelling scheduled commitments without any notice
Providing misleading or unclear reasons afterward
This shows a serious lack of professionalism and empathy. Job seekers invest time and effort, and deserve transparent communication — especially after multiple interview rounds.
