A 30 minutes screening with the HR, talked about the role requirements and team work methodology, as well as my past experiences and how I'd be a good fit.
Taxdoo wants to hire people via remote.com as an employee. I kindly asked the HR whether I can opt for being hired as a contractor, also through remote.com (which is actually cheaper for them) and never received an answer back.
A week after the HR screening, I receive a cold automated rejection mail, without any details on what was not sufficient or what could be improved.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Projects I have contributed to in the past, if I have mentored people before.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Taxdoo (Hamburg) in Feb 2023
Interview
The process took 1 and a half week and I was interviewed twice by the same HR person, was a bit confuse, so with that you can see that the company compromise is affected. On the first interview was just a screening to see the techstack that I worked with and the second one was basically the same questions with 2 or 3 more. Days after I got a phone call that wasn't going to be hired because I didn't achieve they "Senior Level". Seriously? They measured my seniority by HR questions. I wasn't even called to a tech call or test.

Question 1
Q: Draw a parallel between the sector you currently work or have worked in and ours.
The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Taxdoo (London, England)
Interview
In the first interview, after asking about my hobbies without any introduction to the project, team, or company, they asked technical questions. They asked me to design a system in 10 minutes, including reading the system requirements. I have never waited for their feedback because I didn't like them; however, after some days, they called me and told me that you are not a senior but junior, and now we don't hire junior people! They were impolite and selfish.
